Brie+Matt | Riverside on the Potomac Wedding

Today, I am so excited to share with you this beautiful wedding!
Brie and Matt’s wedding was held at the beautiful Riverside On The Potomac in Leesburg, VA. George and I absolutely love this venue, probably just as much as they do :)! This place is perfect for photography and cinematography and one of the reasons George loves it even more is because the grounds are so beautiful and vast and he can fly his drone around without any problems. Besides all this, why we love it so much is because the owners are super nice, friendly and helpful. Because this place is so large and has so many beautiful spots to take pictures, Brie and Matt also chose to have their engagement session at the same location which you can see here, if curious :)!
Brie and Matt are both so kind and sweet and we were so happy to see that their day turned up to be so beautiful! The weather was lovely and everyone’s spirit was the same. From the parents to the bridesmaids and groomsmen all the way to the vendors, everyone was extremely nice and ready to help each other out to make these couple’s day a success. George and I are so honored to work with people that are actually there for the couple and not for themselves. Rouge Fine Catering did such a fabulous job and the food was absolutely AMAZING and Matt from Black Tie Events rocked the house all night and he was such a pleasure to work with.
We’ve expected their wedding to be amazing and we were so right. Brie looked absolutely stunning and Matt so handsome, and everywhere you turned there were beautiful signs and touches of love. She even left him a message on the mirror in his getting ready room to meet her at the altar, how sweet is that? Brie and her mom did such a fantastic job envisioning how they want the place to look, and in my opinion this barn never looked better. Also, instead of having one cake they had about a dozen and got to cut their favorite one. The cakes were all different flavors and looked so amazing. They even had dancing shoes and a sign saying just that. I am telling you, this wedding was planned to the bone 🙂 and we are so happy that were there to capture all those amazing details and moments. And there were lots of moments, from the emotional ceremony when Matt saw Brie for the first time, to declaring their vows, all the way to the heartfelt and funny at times, toasts.
Brie and Matt, George and I really love you guys and are so happy that we got the chance to meet and work with such amazing people like you. We hope to see you guys soon and can not wait to see you guys grow together!!!
xoxo,
Mari and George
P.S. Stay tuned for their wedding film!!
