Kosha and Sheel Part 1 | Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Indian Wedding

Let me start by saying that George and I absolutely love Indian weddings. They are so rich in culture and so colorful, but besides these, the people are extremely nice and full of energy. The guests at these weddings are very passionate about their culture, but most of all they are very happy for the new couples.
Kosha and Sheel’s wedding was absolutely amazing!!! The ceremony and the reception was at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, Maryland and this resort is beautiful and such a perfect setting for Indian weddings. It is large enough to accommodate big groups of people for both ceremonies and receptions, but in the same time everyone is still connected. But getting back to my gorgeous couple, now. I was completely IN-LOVE with both of Kosha’s outfits and how stunning she looked in either one of them. This girl is so beautiful and she can not take a bad picture, it’s kinda annoying, just joking :)! But really now, she is absolutely stunning and she also has this calm demeanor about her self that makes you comfortable and safe. It was such a pleasure being around her and photographing her. Sheel, is such a funny guy and always looking for ways to make people smile and feel comfortable. He looked very handsome, as well, and it was so nice seeing this guy enjoy every step of the process of getting married.
In a few seconds you will see that Sheel’s entrance wasn’t one of a kind. For the Barat part, right before the ceremony, the groom usually has his entrance and back in India elephants are used mostly of the times. In the US, however, horses are more common, but Sheel actually came with the helicopter!! Yes, a helicopter. He and George became good buddies, because George flew with him to get some awesome footage for their wedding film. … and let me get you a little secret, George is absolutely scared to fly and terrified of small planes and copters :), poor guy. But he did it, and I have a feeling that now he feels a bit better about flying in small air-crafts, so if you want to get married in a plane or a helicopter, George we’ll be able to fly and take some great footage :), yayyyyyy George :)!! I love you, honey!
Kosha and Sheel, it was a true pleasure working with you and your families and friends. You all are such beautiful people inside and out and I can not wait to work again with you in the future.
Stay tuned for part two of their beautiful wedding, but until then enjoy some of my favorites from their first part.
