Lillian+William |Washington Dulles Marriott Wedding

Lillian and William are both sweet and corky and working with them was such a pleasure. The day started with Lillian’s getting ready and it was a beautiful day, a bit on the hot side, but beautiful. They had a quick first look on the terrace upstairs and we were able to take some great portraits including my favorite silhouettes :)!After their first look we stepped into their ceremony where Lillian very sweetly warned William to stop staring at her or she will start crying :)! Also, during their ceremony, which was indoors, it started poring and I just couldn’t believe how in such short time (from their first look to their ceremony) we went from a bright sun with blue skies and soft puffy white clouds to dark rolling clouds and lots of rain. That for sure meant good luck and also no more outdoor portraits. But that wasn’t a problem becauseĀ Washington Dulles Marriott Suites its such a charming little hotel and the lobby has some amazing furniture, a great bar, and my favorite, bright red walls. I loved getting my lights out and start creating some more amazing portraits of them and their bridal party. During their reception we had so much fun, William is a very theatrical guy and so were lots of his friends. Needless to say their first dance had a cute surprise, but what really had people up on their feet was when William was invited on the floor to remove the garter. All I can say is that this guy can dance and he is not afraid to show off his moves and that we loved this wedding and had so much fun!
Lillian and William, thank you for letting us be part of your amazing day. We loved every second of it and wish you two all the best on this new journey!
xo,
Mari and George
