Mother and Daughters | Arlington Portrait Photographer
For the longest time I worked with kids and I always LOVED it. For almost five years I worked at JW Tumbles in Arlington VA. I was teaching classes and also managing the place. Everyone there knew me by Miss Mariana and I miss hearing that from my little students. After I got into photography, more seriously, slowly by slowly I realized that one day I will be forced to pick one or the other. Unfortunately and fortunately that day came, a few months ago, and as happy as I am expressing myself through photography and creating so many special memories for so many special people I would lie to say that I don’t miss seeing all those pretty little faces and their personalities. However, sometimes we do get lucky and have the best of both worlds. That is what happen when I was contacted by a beautiful mother who wanted a few nice portraits of her with her gorgeous daughters. When Allegra contacted me and told me that she has two beautiful daughters years seven and nine I was ecstatic and couldn’t wait for that day to come. Having the girls in my studio was a lot of fun. We started by going over their outfits and while mom was getting pampered with hair and makeup I started photographing the girls together and individually. Once mom was all glammed up looking and feeling gorgeous we started photographing them together and afterwards we also took a few portraits of gorgeous Allegra by herself. The girls were all giggles and loved posing for me and their excitement about having their portraits taken was contagious and so empowering for me and for what I do.
All three of them are so gorgeous and fun and I am so happy that I got the chance to photograph them.
Allegra thank you so much for allowing me to create memories for you, your daughters and who knows maybe one day for their own daughters.
