Renaissance Arlington Capitol View Indian Wedding | Nisha+Neel

Where do I start? This couple, this wedding, that whole day = AMAZING! George and I were so honored to work with this fun and incredible couple on their big fat Indian wedding at Renaissance Arlington Capitol View. Feeling like we were part of the family and they were our good friends was a feeling we had for the entire day and still do.
There were lots of great moments throughout the day. The show that Neel put for his barat entrance was one of a kind and his dancing skills are impressive for sure. Their reception entrance was pretty amazing, as well. They dressed in their wedding attire a few days before the wedding and videotaped all the announcements for the entrances. They even made it look like they are in their hotel room and live presenting and introducing everyone from there, great actors I am telling you:)! While guests at the wedding were not expecting them for a while since it looked like they were still in their “hotel room” once all the entrances were over all the lights went off and when the lights came back on, our lovely couple magically appeared in the middle of the dance floor. …and that is how an entrance is made :)! Friends and family, also wanted to surprise the couple and they taught everyone a few simple moves for a flash mob dance. All the coordination could of not been possible without the help and had work of two amazing companies in the wedding industry Dream Shaadi and Planet DJ Productions, so thank you guys for all your hard work and dedication.
There were so many other amazing vendors that we worked with at this wedding and their hard work made everything so enjoyable. IndAroma the best indian caterer in the DMV, . The beautiful henna was by one of my favorite henna artists Bhavna’s Henna and Arts and the hair and make up by Salon SBS. I know I am missing some and feel bad, but will do my best to find all vendors and add them to this post.
Nisha and Neel, you guys are absolutely amazing and your families and friends, as well. WE LOVED working with you and we NEED to keep in-touch, really :)!
Love,
Mari and George
