Quite a few years back, I had the pleasure of photographing an elegant wedding at the Antrim 1844, a stunning venue with old-world charm that served as the perfect backdrop for R and K’s wedding. From the moment I arrived, I was in love with the venue’s timeless beauty, which provided an ideal setting for the couple’s classic and romantic vision. The historic mansion’s lush gardens and the entire grounds really, as well as the getting ready suite, made me ecstatic with happiness and set the tone for the day.
As a photographer, I pride myself on capturing not only the unique personality and style of each couple but also the beauty of the venue and its little vignettes as part of their story. With this particular wedding, I aimed to highlight the couple’s grace and elegance in every shot, whether it was a candid moment or a carefully prompted portrait and whether it was all about them and their connection or it was also about the environment.

They always end up being some of my favorite moments at weddings. And as we may imagine, a wedding day is full of them, but somehow, those moments in times take center stage again and often warm the hearts and sometimes wet the eyes of those who know them.
When the focus was not on the couple, I made sure to capture the details that make each wedding unique: the stunning floral arrangements, the beautiful and delicate china they chose, and, of course, the elegant and exquisite wedding dress and other details.
Every photo was carefully edited to ensure that the colors, light, and composition were true to the day and the ambiance, resulting in a collection of stunning images that the couple has been now cherishing for years.
