Sonia and Varun’s wedding was a grand affair, spanning three magnificent events at some of Washington DC’s most beautiful wedding venues. Their journey began with a vibrant and fun Welcome Party/ Sangeet at the Spy Museum. Followed by the main event, The Mayflower Hotel DC wedding ceremony, and culminating in an elegant reception at The Waldorf Astoria. Each event was a testament to their love and the meticulous planning of Sumeet and his exceptional team from Dream Shaadi. But it was the intricate decor by the talented Sarah Khan of Sarah Khan Event Styling that truly set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. With lavish displays of red and pink roses, along with meticulously planted trees and plants lining the aisle to the mandap, every detail was a masterpiece. The festivities were further elevated by the fun baraat, especially Sonia’s surprise appearance at the baraat. Their first look at The Constitution Gardens in the same spot as their cherished first date location was sweet and private. As their wedding photographer, I am honored to have been part of all of their events and capture so many beautiful memories.
